Purdue Boilermaker

Being an Alumni of Purdue University, it was given that I needed a scale model of the Purdue mascot. Unable to find anything on the market that was anything I would want, I decided to build my own. To do this, I had to download a picture from the internet of the Purdue train and take dimensions and transfer them into the final product. I was able to purchase the Purdue logo's at the campus bookstore that fit the scale model and I found a gold bell that fit perfectly. The roof is made of plexiglas, since I couldn't get wood to work the way I wanted it to. Other than that, all parts are all wood made from scratch. Fun project!

Rocking Harley

The Rocking Harley was built for my granddaughters and has been loads of fun for all of them. It contains seven different woods and are all natural finish, no stains. The colors come from the different types of wood. This was fun to build and since the first one, I have built 2 more for other people.

China Cabinet

This China Cabinet was made for Chad and Heather as a wedding present. It is made of solid Oak. The fun part about this project is that I made everything myself except for the hardware and glass. All of the trim, mouldings, doors and drawers were made in my shop. I even made the tongue and groove boards that make up the back panel. I spent 83 hours building this project.
